pāṇḍitya n. (fr. paṇḍita) scholarship, erudition, learning
Pāṇḍitya provides a visual way to explore relationships between the (mostly Sanskrit) works and authors in the Pandit Prosopographical Database of Indic Texts. It also facilitates exploration of the Sanskrit E-Text Inventory (SETI) as an overlay on the Pandit network.
The project's full name is Pāṇḍityatāraka (पाण्डित्यतारक), meaning "that which helps one cross to the far shore of scholarship." Like a guiding star, a raft, or a ferryman, it assists scholars in navigating Pandit's rich and complex data.
